    The firm was established in 1987, and from 1989 the practice was carried on in association with the attorneys, Niels and Birgitte Grubbe. Following Niels Grubbe's appointment to the Danish Supreme Court bench in June 2000, the name was changed to Nielsen & Thomsen Advokater.
